Why join the network?

Organisations, individuals and networks working on SRHR across the world choose to join WGNRR to be part of a common movement for the advancement of sexual and reproductive rights for all.

Being a WGNRR member brings you in touch with hundreds of peers in other countries advocating for the same issues as you; although in a different context. Members, therefore, create for themselves an important opportunity to engage in experience-sharing and mutual-learning through networking with fellow advocates in their own countries or across the globe.

There are several ways to engage with other network members. WGNRR Members often collaborate in collective research initiatives on a country level. Other members build and implement regional advocacy strategies on a variety of issues, for example: access to safe and legal abortion, teenage pregnancies or female genital cutting.

Other advantages of being a WGNRR member include regular access to SRHR updates through the list-serve and newsletters, participation in WGNRR regional meetings and capacity building activities, and an opportunity to engage in global policy influencing.
